In times of crisis...
This idea came to me during today's service. I thought it would be nice if I can make it into animation...

Present is a gift of God
The past is history
The future is a mystery
Present is reality
It is the gift of God
It is the gift of God
Treasure it, put all your heart in it
Cast your anxiety
All unto Him
Because He cares for you
This is a song that I wrote when I was in UK. I was inspired to write this song after complaining together with my colleague about how nice it would be if we were to be back in Singapore.

I want to live an Awesome Life
I was reminded of a song which I wrote when I was a young Christian. In fact, it was the first song that I've ever written. I never quite manage to complete the chorus part because I simply couldn't find the correct words to describe how God is to me in my life, even till now... It is a song written in simple faith but extremely difficult to sing because it is so tough to live out the lyrics. The main part of this song is 'I ask God to take away my life but God told me to live and testify.' I'm deeply reminded today (after the incident) that God has a purpose in my life - To live and testify.
I want to live an awesome life
It's not just a happy life
But a Holy life (x2)
I ask God to take away my life
But God told me to live and testify
O.. testify
God the everlasting God
God the one who never fails
God our Father, King and Lord
Our God

Thank God I am safe
A few weeks ago...
Today...Just weeks ago my left car wheel hit a sharp kerb and the whole tire ruptured entirely. Spent almost an hour changing the tire...
Today, as I was navigating a normal bend on a wet road, my car went berserk... As if someone else took over the steering wheel, I saw the wheel turned 180 degrees anti-clockwise and then 180 degrees clockwise. I was very sure that my car did not skid, it simply went crazy. I totally lost control of my car and in that few seconds of madness, I prepared myself to crash. My car has no air bag and I was prepared for the worst. At that instant, my car charged towards the opposite lane which was separated by a pavement. Upon hitting the kerb, I suddenly regained control and managed to steer my car back unto the road and drove off as if nothing has happened. However I was left in a state of shock followed by chest pain which lasted an hour.
The images of the incident kept flashing back in my mind. I'm amazed myself that I got out of this thing unharmed, with only a few scratches on my car rim.

Here's the lyrics of the song (I will upload the song soon):

Canon Camera

The process of creating the lens is quite fun, it is as if I am fixing the parts physically. By adding layers and layers of circles with different tones, the lens is created.

Original PhotoI have to use 'Arial Narrow' fonts in replacement of the orginal font used on the camera. The 'X' on the word 'IXUS' is created using 'Arial Narrow' too. The major difference is that the 'A' on the word 'DIGITAL' is different from the original. I deliberately left it untouched. The Canon logo was taken from the web and photoshopped into the picture. The hardest part to illustrate is the flash lens... it is so tempting to just photoshop the original one into my illustration. In the end, I just drew lines and used the smudge tool to create the desired effect.
